About the Position Foursquare is looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team in our New York City office; on a hybrid schedule of T,W,TH in office. The Business Development Associate will support Foursquare’s partnerships team in growing relationships across the AdTech ecosystem. Sitting within the Sales Partnerships team, this role will focus on working with ad publishers, including platforms like TikTok, Snap, and Spotify, to drive growth through partner enablement, strategic integrations, and contract execution. In this role, you’ll  - Assist in managing and supporting partnerships with publishers, social platforms, and ad platforms - Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for partners, handling communications and ensuring smooth collaboration - Support contract negotiations by preparing materials, coordinating with legal, and reviewing terms under the guidance of senior team members - Help coordinate partnership integration projects by tracking timelines, preparing documentation, and facilitating communication between internal teams - Create and maintain partner-facing materials and internal documentation (playbooks, deal trackers, revenue reports) that articulate how partnerships drive value and impact - Manage and help initiate co-marketing opportunities with partners, including case study creation, event coordination, and shared promotional activities - Assist with the preparation, completion, and submission of RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to meet partner and client needs - Evaluate new partnership opportunities by gathering market intelligence, conducting initial research, and helping to assess potential fit and value - Stay informed on industry trends in advertising, data, and measurement to help provide insights that shape partnership strategy What you’ll need - Experience: 2 - 4 years in business development, partnerships, or account management, preferably within AdTech, digital media, or marketing technology - Negotiation & contracts: Demonstrated ability to support and manage commercial agreements, with direct experience in negotiating terms - Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including experience with publishers, data providers, and measurement platforms - Analytical mindset: Ability to synthesize data, identify opportunities, and contribute to business cases that strengthen partnerships - Cross-functional collaboration: Comfort working closely with sales, legal, and product teams to execute on partnership goals - Relationship skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing external partners and stakeholders - Proactive mindset: Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment - Your own unique talents!
