In this role, you’ll help build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that support business, product, and technical use cases across Elastic. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, high-quality data in a fast-moving, distributed environment.</p> <h3><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build, enhance, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines</li> <li>Develop and optimize analytics datasets using BigQuery and dbt</li> <li>Support and maintain existing data systems as needed to ensure continuity and data reliability</li> <li>Design scalable data models that enable trusted analytics and reporting</li> <li>Partner with product managers, analysts, and solution teams to translate ambiguous requirements into effective data solutions</li> <li>Monitor data quality and system health to ensure accurate, timely insights</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring </h3> <ul> <li>Strong experience with SQL and Python</li> <li>3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</li> <li>Experience designing and operating production data pipelines at scale</li> <li>Good knowledge of architecture and design (patterns, reliability, scalability, quality) of complex systems</li> <li>Familiarity with BigQuery and modern ELT tools (e.g., dbt)</li> <li>Experience with AI tools and workflows</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Clear written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul> <h3>Bonus Points</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with Buildkite and Terraform</li> <li>Experience with Dataflow on GCP</li> <li>Experience with Elasticsearch</li> <li>Experience with Kubernetes</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2><strong>Additional Information - We Take Care of Our People</strong></h2> <p>As a distributed company, diversity drives our identity.
