Your Impact As a user experience (UX) specialist at Cisco, you’ll shape meaningful end-to-end experiences that connect with people everywhere. Whether you’re brainstorming concepts, designing visual systems and interactive flows, or planning and executing research studies, your work will be instrumental in creating engaging, accessible, and innovative interfaces. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll translate user needs into thoughtful design solutions, using tools like personas, wireframes, prototypes, and visual specifications to bring ideas to life. Your commitment to inclusive design ensures that our products resonate with and are accessible to users from all backgrounds and abilities. With your curiosity and passion for continuous learning, you’ll stay ahead of design trends and help set new standards for quality. As a strategic thinker and natural collaborator, you’ll advocate for user-centered approaches, mentor teammates, and contribute to a culture of empathy, respect, and creativity. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; within 6 months of graduation. Deep understanding of user-centered design based on HCI, visual, or industrial design foundations. UI/UX Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma Proficiency in English. The candidate must possess strong command over both written and spoken English Able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying, without visa support or sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of version control Project Management skills Basic coding skills: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Why Cisco?
