Backend Software Engineer

<p>Join Wix as a Backend Software Engineer and take part in building robust, scalable backend services that support our global platform. In your day-to-day, you will:&#xa0;</p><p>• Build and maintain scalable, reliable backend services&#xa0;</p><p>• Collaborate with teams to design and deliver features&#xa0;</p><p>• Integrate APIs, microservices, and third-party systems&#xa0;</p><p>• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues&#xa0;</p><p>• Ensure code quality, performance, and stability</p> <p>• Experience in backend development (all levels considered)&#xa0;</p><p>• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Scala, Node.js, Go, etc.)&#xa0;</p><p>• Knowledge of databases, microservice architecture, and API design&#xa0;</p><p>• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and best practices&#xa0;</p><p>• Fluent in English with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills</p> <p>We are Wix's Backend Engineering Guild. We provide integrated tools for microservice development within Wix to help improve developer productivity and best practices. These tools streamline the development process and reduce cognitive load, allowing Wix Engineers to concentrate on their domain, architecture, and business logic.
