Our global network spans hundreds of cities and powers everything from small startups to large enterprises. The Self-Serve and Growth teams focus on Cloudflare’s product-led growth (PLG) business—helping users discover, activate, and expand usage across products like CDN, Security, Workers, R2, Images, and Registrar.</p> <p>As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll work with product managers, engineers, marketers, and data scientists to generate insights that influence product strategy and business growth.</p> <h4><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Analyze product and business data to uncover trends in acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization across Cloudflare’s self-serve customers.</li> <li>Write SQL queries to explore large-scale datasets and build dashboards to track key metrics and experiments.</li> <li>Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define success metrics and answer high-impact business questions.</li> <li>Support A/B tests and growth experiments by measuring impact and providing recommendations.</li> <li>Help maintain and improve data pipelines, data models, and documentation.</li> <li>Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling way.</li> <li>Contribute to improving analytics processes, data quality, and self-serve reporting.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Example Projects</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Build dashboards tracking user activation and feature adoption across Cloudflare products.</li> <li>Analyze funnel conversion from sign-up → first value → paid usage.</li> <li>Identify segments of users most likely to upgrade or expand product usage.</li> <li>Evaluate impact of product launches, pricing changes, or marketing campaigns.</li> <li>Support forecasting and growth modeling for self-serve revenue.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Who You Are</strong></h4> <p><strong>Required: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Experience with SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, or spreadsheets).</li> <li>Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Curiosity about product analytics, growth, and how data drives decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong> ...
