Reporting Analyst Department: Finance & Accounting Team: Finance Operations Location: Bangalore, India Type: Full-Time **About the Role** The main purpose of the team is the delivery of Financial Statements and Corporate Tax returns to the local authorities in the countries where Uber operates. This role will cover 8 entities, 2 complex and rest are straightforward. The analyst will take ownership over those two deliverables for a set of countries assigned. Generally within Europe and Africa. They will also have to engage our local accounting service providers to make sure the accounting records are maintained accurately for a fiscal year. The analyst will also work with our external auditors to complete the yearly audit. They will also be engaged in projects that will help optimize the preparation of FS and CIT or help us with the xFn collaborations we need to maintain. **What the Candidate Will Do** 1. Coordinate the External Audit for entities under purview. 2. Coordinate preparation of Financial statements and preparation of Directs Tax returns. 3. Act as PoC for any financial reporting issues to the Tax Advisory and local Ops teams 4. Contribute to the Organisation's strategic projects. **What the Candidate Will Do** 1. Basic Understanding of IFRS standards and  Direct Tax principles 2. Preparation of Financial Statements 3. Preparation of Reconciliations 4.
