This team provides multiple databases as service to product teams. Which is used to power every single critical use case of Uber. Completely automated lifecycle management such as provisioning/decommission/ etc of any databases cluster 02. Automated patching/upgrade 03. Security and compliance 04. 99.99% of availability 05. Customisable performance **What you'll do** As a Staff software engineer you will drive some of the most complex technical platform initiatives for storage end-to-end and help Uber run across multiple public clouds and private data centers in most effective and seamless manner. **What you'll need** 7+ years of relevant engineering experience. 1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields 2. Proficient with any of the languages : Go, Java or C++ 3. Detailed problem-solving and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis. 4. Experience with inner workings of compute, SWN , storage , cloud or workflow management platforms. 5. Experience with IAAS , compute and storage 6. Experience with Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure) 7. Knowledge or Experience with inner workings of Linux, containers (Docker, contrainerd),cluster management technologies (e.g. Mesos, Kubernetes), or virtual machine \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1.
