> Uber is building its next $1B+ growth engine in Catering and Large Orders. This role is for a high-ownership operator who wants to help build that business from the ground up.

> You will work at the intersection of marketplace strategy and hands-on execution — identifying where the model breaks, determining what needs to be built, and helping scale the solutions that unlock growth. This is a zero-to-one to scale opportunity focused on building durable foundations, not just running projects.

> What You’ll Do
- Identify structural marketplace constraints (supply gaps, quality issues, operational friction) and define clear action plans
- Launch and scale targeted initiatives to improve catering supply quality, depth, and differentiation
- Design and run pilots and experiments to validate new supply models, merchant value propositions, and operational approaches
- Build repeatable processes, playbooks, and performance metrics to support sustainable expansion
- Partner with Product, Ops, Sales, Finance, and Regional teams to operationalize solutions
- Monitor performance and course-correct quickly based on data and real-world feedback
> Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a high-growth, marketplace, consulting, strategy, or operations environment
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea through execution
- Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics, including supply-demand balance and unit economics
- Highly proficient in SQL with the ability to independently analyze data and extract actionable insights
- Structured problem-solving skills and strong business judgment
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
