Corporate Communications Manager, Executive Storytelling and Social Media Department: Communications Team: Communications Location: New York, United States Type: Full-Time ## **About the Role** We are looking for a gifted writer and high-impact comms strategist to set direction and provide hands-on support for executive-level storytelling, primarily through social media. Reporting directly to Uber’s head of corporate communications, this person will partner closely with members of our executive leadership team and their staff, as well as comms and social media leads across the company, to identify the best moments and channels for leaders to “go direct.” They will build content calendars, issues platforms, and channel strategies, helping to sharpen each leader’s distinct voice. ## **About the Team** The most successful technology companies are forward-thinking storytellers who can effectively engage business, technical, and consumer audiences alike to illustrate the magic behind—and the benefits of—their products. This work is about building deep relationships with key journalists and opinion leaders, and partnering across the company to create campaigns that tell our story in new and effective ways. ## **What You'll Do** - Work directly with executive leaders and their teams to identify the issues, moments, and perspectives that matter most—for them personally and for Uber’s business. - Devise tailored platform and channel strategies that harness each leader’s unique voice, setting them up for even greater impact. - Define success metrics, create reporting cadences, and iterate based on performance and broader objectives. - Support real-time social decision-making during fast-moving news moments, including escalation pathways and coordination with policy/legal when needed. - Shoot, edit, and create original content (both videos and
