Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.  We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Monetization platform team to reimagine Vanta’s customer lifecycle infrastructure by unifying entitlement management, usage tracking, and billing into a cohesive platform. These systems form the critical foundation for how customers purchase, access, and manage Vanta's products. What you’ll do as an Engineering Manager at Vanta - Lead, grow and mentor a talented team of backend and full-stack engineers building our core monetization systems - Define and execute technical strategy for a unified monetization platform that integrates seamlessly with Finance and GTM Ops, supports multiple sales models (self-serve, direct enterprise, and partner-driven) and establishes shared best practices in data modeling, distributed systems design, and developer experience - Platformize entitlements, purchasing and billing—enabling other product teams to manage customer access and pricing logic through scalable, well-defined APIs and reusable UX components - Champion operational excellence, promoting strong engineering practices, sustainable delivery, and high reliability as the team scales.
