Partnership, Launch & Expansion Manager Department: Operations Team: Local Operations Location: Tokyo, Japan Type: Full-Time **About the Role** As a Partnership, Launch & Expansion Manager, you will be at the forefront of Uber’s growth strategy in Japan. You will be responsible for two critical pillars that drive our business: Launch & Expansion and Strategic Partnerships. We are looking for a high-impact individual who can balance data-driven prioritization with creative problem-solving to scale our footprint and deepen our brand presence. Launch & Expansion: You will manage the expansion of our service areas, which serves as the primary engine for our business growth. This involves managing multiple launches —ranging from strategic prioritization and schedule management to monitoring the marketplace health (supply-demand balance) of newly launched areas. You will collaborate closely with the supply teams and bring a creative mindset to stimulate demand, ensuring each new market is positioned for long-term success. Partnerships: You will leverage Uber’s global brand equity to create powerful synergies with external partners, including municipal governments, airlines, and other industry leaders. Your goal is to acquire new customers and increase frequency by designing and executing collaborative projects. In this role, building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and demonstrating excellence in end-to-end project management will be essential to unlocking new growth opportunities across the ecosystem. **Your Impact in Role** Strategy & Insights: - Bring your analytical A-game.
