Who we seek: If you love working on production infrastructure you're welcome to join us! We are looking for an Engineer to join our DevOps team in Chennai. DevOps is responsible for the RD platforms which are based on containers and micro-services. Your main focus will be improving the production infrastructure and building the next-level build process, automation methodologies, and tools while working closely with the RD team. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who love supporting a passionate and collaborative team, solving problems, coming up with creative solutions, and continually improving company processes and culture. What you’ll do: Take our CI/CD to the next level Develop and debug on top of Kubernetes infrastructure Work on highly scaled production environments running on AWS. Improve our cloud-native terraform modules, Research new technologies and provide overall technical direction for the team Plan and push closing the automation backlog Communicate with teams across the organization on testing strategy and design Propose improvements to the testing process to decrease defects found in production Work closely with RD teams in an Agile environment What you’ll bring: 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Must have hands on experience in Kubernetes and Docker Must have hands on experience with AWS as a cloud provider Experience in Python/Bash/Groovy Hands-on experience with Terraform Solid grasp of software development life cycle, best practices, and methods across multiple teams: Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, team leadership, and mainly test automation Experience with at least one of Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or Github actions Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Dockers, Relational and non-relational DBs Excellent communication skills are required for documenting and connecting with other groups Ability to explore and initiate new ideas, think, and learn independently Advantages: Experience in Rest API automation and testing methodologies What’s in it for you?!
