Software Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer who is strong in modern .NET development and capable of building scalable, high-quality backend-driven systems. This role requires solid engineering fundamentals, clean coding discipline, and the ability to contribute meaningfully within Agile product teams. You will design, build, and optimize features within a distributed SaaS environment. Core Responsibilities Design and develop applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services Write efficient, optimized SQL queries and support database feature development Apply SOLID principles and clean architecture practices Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint execution Debug, profile, and improve application performance Collaborate with QA, Product, and DevOps teams Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to engineering standards Mandatory Skills & Experience 2–4 years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns Experience building applications using ASP.NET Core and Web APIs Working knowledge of Entity Framework Strong SQL Server experience including complex queries and schema understanding Good understanding of data structures and basic algorithms Basic understanding of microservices architecture Experience working in Agile environments Strong JavaScript fundamentals; basic exposure to Angular or similar frameworks Good to Have Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms Familiarity with CQRS concepts Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of security best practices Experience in healthcare or regulated domains This onsite opportunity involves working 5 full days per week from our office in Kharadi, Pune Benefits Veradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work.
