Social Media Manager

fal is building the Generative Media Cloud. Infrastructure that helps creators and developers turn raw ideas into finished media, instantly. We’re growing fast and looking for a Content Marketing Manager to shape the narrative of our brand across every channel and touchpoint. If you're part storyteller, part strategist, and deeply online, this role is for you. Why this role matters Generative media moves at internet speed. Our social presence isn’t just distribution, it’s brand, community, and growth. You’ll define fal’s voice online, shape how we show up across platforms, and turn product launches and industry moments into content people actually share. This isn’t a scheduling-and-reporting role. You’ll be building a category-defining brand in public. What you’ll do Own fal’s social presence across X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms Build and execute a high-velocity content engine — from launch threads and short-form video to memes and thought leadership Turn product releases, model launches, and company milestones into shareable narratives Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership to translate technical breakthroughs into clear, compelling content Experiment constantly with formats, hooks, and trends to drive engagement and follower growth Engage directly with our community — creators, developers, partners — and make fal feel native to the internet Track performance and optimize for reach, engagement, and influence (not vanity metrics) You’ll thrive in this role if you Have 2–5 years of experience running social for a tech company, startup, or media brand Have strong internet instincts — you understand culture, timing, tone, and what spreads Have built an audience, launched content that went viral, or consistently grown accounts Move fast and iterate — you ship daily and learn in public Can write sharp hooks, strong threads, tight captions, and scripts for short-form video Are comfortable being the voice of a brand in public Bonus: You’re plugged into AI, developer culture, or creative communities and love staying at the edge of what’s happening.
