Senior Render Artist

Scopely is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Render Artist to join our team based from Barcelona Dublin on a hybrid/remote basis or from the UK Portugal in a remote basis! We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy/MMO title, creating a team of talented and passionate game makers to join us on this exciting journey! What You’ll Do As a Senior member of the art team you will be working closely with the Art Directors helping to make their artistic vision come to life. You will work in a collaborative environment to create and iterate on a breadth of 2D Marketing, promotional and in game visuals that showcase this exciting project. The ideal candidate will show a portfolio of a wide variety of renders / splash screens and marketing art. Work closely with the Art Directors to deliver the highest quality visuals for use in promotional materials and rendered images for use in game. Produce visual benchmark marketing materials for a wide range of scenarios. This will include 2D imagery for use in advertising, social media, as well as in game usage. Facilitate and drive the creation of endearing, memorable promotional renders that reflect the personalities of the characters within the game. Collaborate with modelling, rigging, animation, ui and marketing teams to achieve the desired goals. Work closely with Production to coordinate rendering resources, schedules and priorities based on project needs. Consistently strive to exceed the highest quality standards of the studio. What We’re Looking For You will be able to demonstrate a history of creating stunning renders and 2D promotional pieces using 3D assets and rendering techniques. You will display high level skills and judgement on composition and framing. Experience in shipping multiple titles in your career as a Render Artist/Marketing Artist in the games industry. Excellent understanding of lighting application in 3D render scenes. A working knowledge of posing characters and 3D assets using existing skeletal rigs. Maya experience. An excellent knowledge of Marmoset toolbag or comparative software. Superior communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and an ability to receive and provide objective feedback.
