As the Engineering Manager for the Console UI team, you’ll lead and grow a frontend-focused engineering team responsible for shaping the user experience of a new, strategic platform initiative at 1Password. You’ll support a team building the admin and developer-facing interfaces that make complex security and infrastructure capabilities usable, intuitive, and trustworthy. You’ll partner closely with Product, Design, Identity, Security, and Backend Platform teams to translate foundational runtime systems into clear workflows for configuring machine identities, managing secure integrations, defining access controls, and auditing activity. This is not a feature team working at the edges. It is a foundational team defining how customers experience an entirely new layer of 1Password. You’ll mentor engineers, create a strong culture of frontend excellence, and help establish technical direction for a UI surface that must scale in both complexity and impact. You’ll balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural thinking, ensuring the Console evolves into a cohesive, reliable experience as the platform grows. This role requires comfort operating in ambiguity and helping shape both product and organizational boundaries as the platform evolves. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
