Expert Systems Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking an Expert Systems Engineer to lead cloud platform reliability, deployment automation, and operational maturity for our healthcare platform. Core Responsibilities Lead architecture and improvements of cloud-based infrastructure environments Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments Define monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies Drive improvements in cloud cost optimization and resource utilization Establish best practices for cloud security and operational governance Lead investigation and resolution of complex production incidents Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance Mentor Systems Engineers and guide operational practices Mandatory Skills & Experience 7–10 years of experience managing cloud-hosted systems Strong experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on major platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong familiarity with AWS services is preferred given the current platform Experience designing scalable and resilient cloud environments Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines Experience automating infrastructure and deployment workflows Strong experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems Good to Have Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices Experience with container orchestration technologies Familiarity with healthcare technology environments Benefits Veradigm believes in empowering our associates with the tools and flexibility to bring the best version of themselves to work.
