About the opportunity We are looking for a Senior ML Developer to join the Dayforce Labs team that is working on developing AI solutions within the company. The Sr. ML Developer has an opportunity to join a team of strong developers and work on high visibility and high impact products. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and a desire to keep up to date with advances in new and emerging technologies. Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products. You will work closely and collaborate with product managers and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality. What you'll get to do Lead the iterative development, validation, and deployment of AI/ML models Collaborate on end-to-end automation efforts required to bring models to production Work with structured and unstructured raw data to design and develop innovative predictive models, metrics, and dashboards to uncover actionable insights Visualize and report data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats that provide insights to the organization Build and maintain a strong engagement with key stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities. Contribute to the engineering process and culture If you are a technology enthusiast, have passion for creating great software, want to see your creation utilized by millions of people all over the world, and possess one or more of the following qualifications, we want to talk to you Skills and experience we value 4+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, specializing in classification, clustering, time series analysis, encoder based transformer models, explainability and optimization Advanced familiarity with SQL and spark/pyspark 2+ years experience and knowledge in MLOps, in deploying, operationalizing, and maintaining and monitoring scalable AI/ML-solutions in production Advanced proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLFlow, etc.) and libraries commonly used in NLP and Generative AI Advanced proficiency in data cleaning and data transformation Proven ability to debug, analyze, and profile existing code Excellent collaboration and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities What would make you really stand out Experience with infrastructure design and deployment utilizing Azure, cloud offerings for the implementation of data pipelines (Azure SQL, Function/Logic Apps, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) Experience with Databricks What’s in it for you Dayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
