What you'll do All front of house duties including check in/check out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork tasks, prepping tests, tasking to service level expectations etc Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in team problem solving, supporting in office providers with ad hoc asks, etc. Answer incoming phone calls from patients and other medical providers, triaging them to the appropriate person Read and process new incoming referrals and authorizations from primary care providers as well as other specialists Keep patients records up to date and organized so that our providers deliver the highest level of patient care Master our technology suite including but not limited to our Electronic Medical Record System, Microsoft Teams and NextGen in order to interact with team members and patients and complete daily work Perform opening and closing duties/daily office upkeep as required, including maintaining the look and feel of both patient and employee facing spaces, restocking supplies, and organization These responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this job classification. What you have At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously A proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward thinking perspective when under pressure, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges Nice to haves Prior experience working in the healthcare Ability to speak multiple languages Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage Sick leave hours per year Paid holidays per year Physical Demands: Mostly sedentary work duties require exerting up to thirty pounds of force occasionally and/or small amounts of force frequently. Sedentary work typically involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. This is a full-time role based in our family of Pomona Valley region clinics. Chaparral Medical Group clinics are in Chino, Claremont, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino and Upland.
