Position Summary: ultra innovative – Tackle rare and dynamic challenges We are seeking a motivated Junior or Senior pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or a related technical field) for a six-month immersion into our Facilities and Engineering teams. You will bridge the gap between technical theory and operational reality in a high-stakes, regulated environment. Work Model: Core Lab Ops: This role typically requires that the majority of the work be conducted on-site. Responsibilities: Maintenance Strategy: Develop and document detailed maintenance work plans to ensure equipment reliability. Project Support: Assist Engineering teams with small-scale capital projects, from design review to execution. Failure Analysis: Conduct research into equipment failure modes to support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and predictive maintenance initiatives. Compliance: Ensure all work meets the rigorous documentation standards required in the life sciences industry. Requirements: Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited B.S. program in Electrical, Engineering, or Chemical Engineering or related degree (Junior/Senior standing preferred). This is a 6 month co-op, starting July 6, 2026 working full-time (40 hours per week) until December 18, 2026 Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical data into clear documentation. Mindset: Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Physical Demand Requirements: Stand for extended periods of time with periodic stooping / bending / kneeling. Ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights. Able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs. Work in a controlled environment requiring GxP gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body. This requires the ability to change clothes into appropriate gowning and personal protective equipment. Certain tasks may require use of a respirator; medical clearance will be required in advance. Must remove all make-up, jewelry, and contract lenses while in the manufacturing environment. Working in termperature-controlled environments (cold rooms). U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $23.00-$30.00/hour.
