As demand accelerates, we are on track to more than double our physician team in 2026 and are projected to become the fifth largest teleradiology practice in the U.S. About the Role We are looking for an Interventional Radiology (IR) Section Chief to oversee our expanding IR service line. This is a hybrid clinical and leadership role designed for an experienced, entrepreneurial interventional radiologist who enjoys building and scaling programs, bringing structure and organization to the practice, and supporting a geographically distributed IR practitioners. The IR Section Chief will play a central role in ensuring the success, consistency, and quality of Imagen’s growing IR services while remaining meaningfully engaged in clinical work. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary leader for the IR physician group, driving strategic recruitment, clinical mentorship, and team engagement to foster a culture of excellence as the practice scales nationally Provide on-site procedural coverage requiring regular travel to support clinical operations and program growth Own IR-specific quality standards, procedural protocols, and best practices across the practice Act as the clinical subject-matter expert on IR services during prospective client meetings Balance clinical and leadership responsibilities, dedicating sufficient time to the clinical practice and administrative/section leadership activities. With anticipated rapid program expansion, the remaining time will be allocated to on-site activities, including performing procedures, interacting with clinicians, medical leadership, and senior management Benefits: Productivity bonus Full workstation provided Internal licensing support and reimbursement Malpractice coverage 10 weeks PTO Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, short-term and long-term disability Life insurance and FSA options Required Qualifications: MD or DO, eligible to practice medicine in the U.S. ABR or AOBR board-certified radiologist 5+ years post-training clinical experience in Interventional radiology ACR CAQ in Interventional Radiology Administrative experience at the practice or hospital level Unrestricted license in at least one U.S. state and the ability to obtain additional state licenses Imagen Technologies is a remote-first company and this job is conducted remotely. The base salary for the position is between $650,000-$750,000 plus equity, productivity bonus and benefits.
