The role
We’re looking for a Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – US to serve as Nebius’ executive security voice as we expand our AI infrastructure platform across the U.S. enterprise market. This is a high-impact, market-facing leadership role at the intersection of security strategy, enterprise sales, and product influence. The Field CISO will act as a trusted advisor to customer CISOs, help accelerate strategic enterprise deals, and ensure Nebius’ security capabilities evolve to meet the complex and rapidly changing demands of U.S. organizations adopting AI infrastructure at scale.
As a senior individual contributor within the Security Products organization, this role reports to the Head of Security Products and partners closely with the CISO, Platform Security, Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Go-To-Market teams.
This is a remote, US-based position with national scope, focused on enterprise and strategic accounts.
Your responsibilities :
Act as the voice of the customer within Security Products, influencing the roadmap and capability evolution
Advance Nebius’ credibility and long-term security narrative as a trusted AI infrastructure provider in the U.S. enterprise market
Align Nebius’ security posture with U.S. enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
Build long-term advisory relationships and lead a U.S. Customer Security Advisory Board
Collaborate cross-functionally with CISO, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to strengthen market positioning
Lead executive-level security discussions, deep-dive architecture sessions, and risk alignment engagements
Manage customer security escalations requiring executive credibility and technical fluency
Partner with Product, Platform Security, and Engineering to ensure enterprise-grade AI workload, data, identity, and governance controls
Serve as an executive peer to CISOs and senior security leaders across U.S. enterprise organizations
Shape RFP strategy, security positioning, and executive narratives for high-value opportunities
Support late-stage strategic deals by addressing complex security, risk, regulatory, and architecture concerns
Translate enterprise security expectations into actionable recommendations for Product and Security teams
We expect you to have:
12+ years of experience in cybersecurity;
5+ years in a security leadership role;
Experience as one of the following: Hyperscaler security leader, Senior security executive at a cybersecurity vendor, CISO in a growth-stage or mid-market company, or senior security leader within a large enterprise environment;
Deep understanding of: Cloud security architectures, AI infrastructure security considerations, Identity access management, Encryption key management, Logging, monitoring, and detection, and Enterprise risk frameworks;
Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with Fortune 500 CISOs as a peer;
Experience influencing complex enterprise deals in security-sensitive environments;
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex architecture for business stakeholders;
Proven ability to translate customer feedback into product strategy;
