We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end Hardware RD projects in the development of next-generation GPU-accelerated server platforms for AI and cloud workloads. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary RD team—covering electronics, mechanical, thermal, and embedded engineering—to deliver innovative, production-ready hardware solutions. This role sits at the intersection of advanced technology, system design, and vendor collaboration (GPU, CPU, and platform partners). You’re welcome to work in our office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full life-cycle server hardware projects from concept and prototyping to production release.
Drive cross-functional alignment across electronics, thermal, mechanical, and firmware teams.
Plan and track project milestones, risk assessments, and deliverables in coordination with RD leadership.
Lead technical issue investigations for complex hardware failures or performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with major GPU, CPU, and server component vendors to integrate and validate cutting-edge technologies.
Coordinate new research initiatives in system architecture, thermal management, and power delivery for AI-dense workloads.
Ensure documentation, design reviews, and validation reports are executed according to RD quality standards.
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and management. Required Skills and Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in server hardware or high-performance computing project management. - Strong understanding of GPU/CPU server architectures, power and thermal design, and manufacturing processes. - Proven ability to manage cross-disciplinary engineering teams and external partners. - Familiarity with rack-scale systems, data center deployment, and validation testing workflows. - Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to translate complex engineering tasks into clear project plans. - Experience with Agile / hybrid project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project). - Analytical mindset with a passion for AI infrastructure and next-generation hardware innovation.
