About Copia Automation Copia Automation is a high-growth startup in a critically important market: OT cyber security. Our customers use the Copia platform to backup, collaborate on, and govern the code and configurations on their OT devices. By doing so, they are able to prevent problematic code changes from bringing down their production lines, quickly bring production back online in the event of a downtime event, and monitor compliance and standardization across thousands of devices. To put it concretely: we help prevent our nation’s biggest companies & most important pieces of critical infrastructure from downtime events, and we help them recover when they do. About the Senior Data Scientist, BizOps role When Copia’s executive leadership needs help with thorny business challenges, members of BizOps find solutions. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations. In this role, your primary mission is to help our go-to-market (GTM) partners make the best possible decisions using data. You will own the full data science life-cycle for ambiguous business problems from initial analysis to recommendation. You will drive value across the full data spectrum, from core BI, data pipelining, and dashboarding to advanced causal and correlational modeling. An example of what your first project might be is automating the collection of essential CRM information by parsing call and video transcripts, moving beyond data collection to produce and present insights that directly influence business outcomes. You will need the agility to pivot and deliver solutions as high-stakes business priorities evolve.
