About the Team:
The Construction Design and Delivery team is at the core of Relativity’s growth and development. Through our collaboration and expertise, we deliver projects that lay the foundation for Relativity’s future success. In essence, we build the factory that builds the rockets! We are responsible for cross functional relationships with teams such as Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS and Security to name a few, working through design specifications and execution of critical infrastructure projects that supports the mission of work centers. Our relationships don’t stop there, working daily with government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors and contractors who support our factory build out. Our team ensures that all projects meet operational requirements, safety and environmental codes, all the while remaining within budget, delivering on time, and to the highest quality as we help to drive production forward.
About the Role:
The Superintendent position is responsible for the day-to-day driving of projects. This role oversees delivery of multiple complex, high-bay, mission-critical facilities—and supporting infrastructure—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with aerospace, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
This role will partner closely with manufacturing, propulsion, avionics, EHS, security, IT, and supply chain teams to deliver technical requirements into buildable, scalable facilities that support rapid production ramp and long-term growth.
Document Control: Ensuring all work performed aligns with the most current set of Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and specifications.
Critical Path Analysis: Monitoring the project timeline to identify potential bottlenecks and implementing recovery plans for any schedule slippage
Subcontractor Integration: Overseeing the sequence of operations for all trade partners to ensure optimal workflow and resource utilization.
Operational Excellence: Continuous evaluation of project lifecycles to identify and institutionalize workflow efficiencies. Standardize "best practice" methodologies to minimize future operational friction.
EHS Oversight: Enforcing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards in accordance with OSHA regulations and company-specific safety manuals.
Daily Reporting: Compiling comprehensive daily field reports that document labor force, equipment usage, and site conditions for legal and historical record.
Change Order Verification: Validating the necessity and scope of field-directed changes to prevent "scope creep" and unnecessary expenditures.
