Netflix is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Netflix Ads team in Japan.
This role is responsible for conducting advertising campaign execution from confirmation through post-campaign reporting, ensuring seamless operations and a high standard of client service.
The Account Manager partners closely with Sales Partners, agencies, advertisers, and the Ad Operations team to manage campaign execution, monitor delivery performance, and support revenue growth across the book of business. This role plays an important part in translating client objectives into well-executed campaigns while maintaining operational excellence across multiple stakeholders.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Partner with Sales Partners to manage advertiser and agency campaigns while supporting revenue growth across accounts
Conduct end-to-end campaign execution, coordinating activities from campaign confirmation through launch, delivery, and completion
Serve as the primary point of contact for campaign-related communication with agencies and advertisers
Track campaign progress and ensure campaigns launch and deliver according to agreed timelines and objectives
Monitor campaign delivery and performance, providing regular reporting and updates to both clients and internal stakeholders
Prepare post-campaign reports and deliver clear performance summaries and insights
Coordinate brand lift studies with measurement partners, including study setup and consolidation of results
Conduct weekly pipeline and pacing meetings with Sales Partners to align on campaign launches, delivery pacing, and upcoming opportunities
Work closely with the Ad Operations team to ensure accurate campaign setup, implementation, and technical troubleshooting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Measurement, Creative, Finance, and Ad Policy to ensure smooth campaign execution
Escalate campaign issues when necessary and support internal teams in resolving operational challenges
Maintain a strong understanding of Netflix ad products, targeting capabilities, sponsorship opportunities, and advertising policies
Support monthly billing and invoicing processes in coordination with Finance and clients
Build and maintain strong working relationships with agency and advertiser partners through clear and proactive communication
We’re Looking for:
Experience managing advertising campaigns and working with agencies and brand advertisers
Strong understanding of digital advertising campaign workflows and media buying models
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across clients, agencies, and internal teams
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance and communicate key insights
Comfort working cross-functionally with teams such as Ad Operations, Measurement, Creative, Finance, and Policy
Ability to navigate campaign challenges and support solutions in a fast-moving environment
Familiarity with campaign reporting and measurement solutions such as Macromill,Nielsen, Kantar is a plus
Fluency in Japanese and the ability to communicate effectively in English for internal collaboration
Interest in entertainment and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and evolving advertising business
