Design, develop, and test software applications and solutions that cater to the needs of Uber riders, drivers, and airport operators. Design, develop, and/or test software applications using company technology stack. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues. Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity. Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system. Solve production issues in product and system reliability. May telecommute. Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and four years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires: 1. Programming language (C, C++, Java, Python, or Go); 2. Distributed systems or micro-service architectures; 3. Relational databases and distributed storage systems (MySQL or Cassandra); 4. Data structures and algorithms development and functionality; 5. Designing technology stacks; 6.
