Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.</p> <p>We’re excited to invite talented and motivated Android Engineers to join our award-winning team to help expand Robinhood’s mobile experience for our customers.</p> <p>Learn more about some of our available teams below!</p> <p>The <strong>Retirement & Accounts team</strong> at Robinhood focuses on building and managing products that help customers prepare for long-term financial security and manage their money more effectively.</p> <p>The <strong>Equities team at Robinhood</strong> is responsible for everything related to trading and investing in stocks and ETFs on the platform. They are the group that ensures customers have access to a best-in-class equity trading experience — from infrastructure to product innovation.</p> <h2>What you'll do</h2> <ul> <li>Work with a fast-growing team to revolutionize finance at speed and scale</li> <li>Build smooth, stable, and elegant products with Kotlin and the newest Android APIs</li> <li>Own features from inception to design, implementation, and launch</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Developers, and Data team</li> <li>Work with Kotlin, Android SDK & Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines & Flow (preferred) OR RxJava, and Retrofit & Room</li> </ul> <h2>What you bring</h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of professional Android development experience building consumer Android applications at scale, preferably in Kotlin and Compose</li> <li>Attention to detail, passion for writing clean, readable and maintainable code</li> <li>Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and Jetpack</li> <li>Desire to improve Robinhood's app and codebase to ensure outstanding quality for our all users</li> <li>Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and passion for solving technical challenges</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent training or work experience also acceptable</li> </ul> <p>At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community.
