ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril’s Space Manufacturing team is seeking a Senior Integration and Test Engineer to join our team. The Space Manufacturing team is responsible for assembly, integration, and test of ground support equipment, PCBA, unit-level, and integrated systems that are vital for our aerospace and defense operations. Your expertise will help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability at Anduril. The right person for this role can demonstrate past holistic ownership on solving a technical challenge with a creative, physical, solution that they either personally manufacturing or oversaw manufacturing on, in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead and participate in system integration and test campaign, developing test plans, test procedures, and schedules, coordinating resource needs, test equipment, and test facility needs
Lead test readiness reviews (TRRs) for flight hardware
Participate in manufacturing readiness reviews (MRRs) for flight hardware
Develop, document, and continuously improve processes for the manufacturing, assembly, and integration of PCBAs and box-level assemblies, and space vehicle ensuring compliance with space-grade standards
Perform hands-on hardware and software testing at unit-level and system level
Perform detailed root cause analyses (RCA) and drive corrective actions for non-conformances/anomalies identified during integration and test
Specify, procure, and maintain assembly tools, fixtures, and equipment required for integration and test
Communicate with supply chain, hardware teams, program management, and test teams to manage priorities and resolve technical challenges
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability industries
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline
Experience in unit-level/space vehicle/system integration, assembly, and environmental testing (eg., vibration, thermal vacuum, acoustic, shock, and EMI/EMC)
Practical knowledge of using test equipment (eg., oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, electronics loads, DAQs)
Familiar with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Familiarity with manufacturing process controls, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to interface with design engineers to address DFM or DFA challenges
Willing to work in cleanrooms and around sensitive flight hardware
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting integration and test phases of spacecraft programs, including subsystem-level tests (e.g., power, RF communication, software simulations, optical instruments) and full system-level tests)
