We’re looking for a bright and passionate Software Team Lead to join our RD Core team. In this critical role, you will lead, design, and develop major parts of our highly scalable and high-performance solution. You would be part of engineering the backbone of a revolutionary platform, including complex networking topology and optimizations. Responsibilities: Lead a team of experienced software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, excellence, and mutual support Serve as a mentor and coach, guiding both personal and professional development of team members Design, implement, and test network security enterprise solutions Perform ongoing research and prototyping for new features and product ideas Research new technologies and adopt them for use in the company’s product Requirements: At least 10 years of experience as a hands-on software developer of a large-scale network or security solution 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead In-depth knowledge of Networking, Network Protocols, and Environment Demonstrated hands-on experience in customizing Linux or Unix-based operating systems Strong proficiency with C in a multithreaded environment Experience in developing frequently released production code, our production cycles are short Working experience with Networking and Real-Time Development, Security and Network Research, and SaaS infrastructure Passionate about demystifying performance, and the system internals from the smallest Makefile flags and bios configurations, and up to holistic integrated solutions with many moving parts Expert in designing and building highly scalable services, particularly in SMP environments A team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills Advantages: Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) Hands-on experience profiling system performance and analyzing traffic and throughput patterns
