THE ROLE
Pure Storage Japan is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Hunter to join our Emerging team in Japan In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing new business, working with our channel resellers and key customer accounts. Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams to drive success in the Enterprise private sector.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Promote our innovative and simple all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, clearly communicating the value provided by Pure to customers in Japan’s social infrastructure sector (including electric power, gas, transportation, and construction companies).
Continuously lead the achievement of industry-leading customer satisfaction through ongoing relationship building and investment in customers.
Develop and execute account plans that fully leverage internal resources, lead project teams, and drive the acquisition of new customers.
Ensure the achievement of quarterly and annual targets through the management of a healthy and robust sales pipeline.

WHAT YOU BRING
Sincerity and passion to engage earnestly with customers primarily in Japan’s social infrastructure sectors (electric power, gas, transportation, and construction), and to deeply understand their business challenges.
As this role covers a broad territory, the ability to apply insight, creativity, and a challenger mindset to propose solutions to customer challenges by leveraging technical knowledge and Pure’s product portfolio.
A strong track record and proactive approach to new customer acquisition, with the ability to communicate effectively from executive leadership to data center operations, and to passionately articulate the value of our solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to build and deepen trusted relationships.
Strategic planning and execution capabilities aimed at maximizing revenue and improving operational efficiency within the assigned territory.
Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
A proven history of consistently exceeding targets and delivering business results strong enough to earn recommendations from customers and partners.
Passion for customer success even after contract execution.
At least five years of corporate sales experience, primarily focused on new customer acquisition or business development.
Sales experience and industry knowledge in the financial services industry is a plus.
English conversation skills are not required; however, the ability to read and understand English using translation tools is preferred.
