Value Management Team, Value Consultant
Purpose: Pure is looking for an ambitious, curious and data driven Value Consultant to join the Origination Business Case group within the Value Management team. You will serve as a vital resource to quickly originate new opportunities and enable our customers to maximise the full advantage of Pure’s data platform. By collaborating closely with our Enterprise account teams, value management peers, internal stakeholders and clients, you will develop impactful client value propositions and unsolicited proposals for our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing client value assessments, client business cases and also performing post-sale value realization work. The ideal candidate will have high numerical literacy developed through study with prior work experience within a financial, consulting or IT background. You will understand corporate finance and be confident developing economic propositions that align to our clients goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Value Propositions :
Develop outside-in persona level value assessments for opportunities which quantify our contributions towards cost savings, revenue increase / protection, sustainability and risk reduction. Position these assessments with identified recipients of value jointly iterating them to the point where the client agrees with the expected value received.
Commercial Strategy:
Work with internal finance teams to develop commercial strategies for opportunities which ensures our price is commensurate with the value we are able to quantify.
Client Business Case :
Produce and maintain the client business case in cashflow and PL formats throughout the lifecycle of the opportunity. Position and validate business cases with client stakeholders gaining support for the economic proposition. Participate and support in pricing discussions with the client. Standardize business cases around common inputs and outputs to create financial models that can be repeated quickly and easily across accounts.
Client Assets :
Contribute to the writing and presenting of client value propositions and proposals, clearly outlining the overall value and financial proposition.
Benchmarks :
Develop and maintain a benchmark of validated client metrics in support of producing future value propositions and business cases.
Impact:
You’ll be working hand in hand with our most strategic global clients ensuring Pure are able to quantify and position the full value of our solutions to deliver a compelling business and financial proposition. This will help our clients improve the business metrics which matter to them, ensuring they maximise the full advantage of Pure’s data platform.
What you'll be doing :
Work with account teams, the wider value management team and internal stakeholders to develop and write comprehensive client value propositions.
Present value propositions to various client stakeholders to validate and gain consensus upon the expected value received for the opportunity.
Partner with internal teams to develop optimal commercial strategies for deals ensuring Pure appropriately monetize the value we bring to our clients.
Develop and own the end-to-end client business case throughout the life cycle of the opportunity in both cashflow and profit loss formats.
Present and validate the business cases to relevant client stakeholders including IT, Procurement and Finance.
Contribute to the writing of compelling client proposals.
