NetSuite Integration and Platform Developer - Assistant Vice President

About the Role: The NetSuite Developer and Integrations Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing support of NetSuite customizations and enterprise integrations. This role combines hands‑on NetSuite development, integration engineering, technical documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration to support complex financial and operational workflows. The position owns end‑to‑end delivery of NetSuite‑centric solutions, from requirements translation and technical design through testing, deployment, and production support. Key Responsibilities: NetSuite Development Configuration Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScript (Map/Reduce, scheduled scripts), workflows, custom records, fields, saved searches, and forms. Manage configuration changes across sandbox and production environments, including validation following refreshes. Enhance ARM configuration to improve revenue recognition rules and allocation logic. Optimize SuiteBilling to support subscriptions, usage-based fees, passthrough charges, and multi-element pricing. Build and maintain SuiteScript/workflows to automate contract-to-cash events (activation, billing triggers, amendments, terminations). Implement and refine dunning automation (delinquency tracking, communications, aging, escalation). Improve invoice generation and behavior (templates, accuracy, consistency, downstream reporting). Strengthen NSAW pipelines (field selection, refresh strategy, performance tuning at scale). Partner with Finance/FPA to validate NSPB data flows and ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and budgets. Integration Engineering Serve as the technical owner for NetSuite integrations with other core business systems. Design and support integrations using Celigo, REST/SOAP APIs, and filebased transfers. Manage authentication, credentials, endpoint configurations, and environmentspecific connections. Troubleshoot integration failures, data mismatches, timing issues, and error responses across systems. Technical Design Documentation Author and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs), integration specifications, field mappings, and data flow diagrams. Define payload structures, transformation logic, error handling, reconciliation processes, and operational runbooks. Produce troubleshooting guides and knowledge artifacts to support longterm maintainability and audit readiness. Support integrations across ERP, BSM, CRM, CLM, payment platforms, and other internal or thirdparty systems. Business Analysis Requirements Translation Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Treasury, and Technology stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements. Translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with NetSuite capabilities and integration constraints. Perform fieldlevel mapping and data normalization across integrated systems. Identify edge cases, data dependencies, and system limitations early in the design phase. Testing, Cutover Release Support Design and execute SIT and UAT testing for NetSuite customizations and integrations. Prepare test data, validate endtoend data flows, and document results. Support cutover planning, mock cutovers, production deployments, and postrelease validation. Provide hypercare and stabilization support following releases. Operational Support Issue Resolution Act as an escalation point for complex NetSuite and integrationrelated issues. Perform rootcause analysis and implement durable fixes rather than oneoff workarounds. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve defects and production incidents. CrossFunctional Collaboration Delivery Work closely with technology, leadership, finance, and external implementation partners. Participate in recurring system standups, project working sessions, and prioritization discussions. Provide technical guidance on sequencing, risk, and implementation tradeoffs.
