Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers
Drive supplier qualification, audits and ongoing performance management
Define supplier quality expectations, KPIs and reporting (PPM, capability, delivery)
Partner with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations on NPI, change management and risk mitigation
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers
Establish and continuously improve supplier quality strategies using tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC and PPAP
Lead and grow a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, ensuring supplier performance meets Graphcore’s standards for quality, reliability and scalability as we ramp production of industry-leading AI systems.
Candidate Profile
Essential
Proven people leadership experience in supplier or manufacturing quality
Deep experience in semiconductor or high-tech hardware supply chains
Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, control plans and VDA 6.3
Experience leading structured root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why)
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate in fast-paced, global engineering environments
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field)
Desirable
Lean and/or Six Sigma experience
Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~20%)
