Role Summary As a Learning Experience Designer , you will design and develop powerful, learner-centered experiences that are practical, engaging, and scalable. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to translate industry expertise into structured curricula, lessons, assessments, and activities. You’ll apply learning design frameworks and tools to create programs that align with our institutional principles, integrate innovative formats (including AI-enabled tools), and achieve measurable learner outcomes. Specific Responsibilities Design Development Design engaging, learner-centred experiences aligned to outcomes and learner needs. Develop lessons, projects, assessments, and activities using sound instructional design principles. Apply design frameworks, templates, and accessibility standards for consistency and quality. Experiment with new tools and formats (e.g., AI, interactive media) to enhance learner impact. Support senior designers in developing curricula and learning experiences across multiple programs. Assist with preparing course deployment materials and conducting final quality assurance checks on LMS content. Collaboration Content Creation Work with subject matter experts to translate expertise into clear, structured learning content. Curate and adapt high-quality materials for online, blended, and experiential learning environments. Document and organize learning assets for reuse, scalability, and version control. Participate in content review sessions, applying ALX’s design frameworks and templates to ensure accuracy, clarity, and learner engagement. Identify and document areas of improvement within existing courses and propose practical enhancements.
