We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to help support our Chief Financial Officer at Netflix. The role will report to and closely partner with the Executive Assistant in the office. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. This is a demanding and fast-paced role that requires someone who is highly responsive and organized, has a strong attention to detail at all times, exercises good judgment and discretion, and is a team player. The ideal candidate will also have experience in planning team activities and events and possess a general passion for creating memorable experiences that build team cohesion.
This position is based in our Los Angeles office and will report to the CFO’s Executive Assistant. Expectations for the role include being in-office Monday through Thursday, with exceptions based on the CFO’s commitments/travel schedule - and subject to change based on company/team norms. The role will partner closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure there is staggered coverage for the CFO as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with responsiveness, reliability, and accountability. Strong ability to prioritize, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and proactively solve problems
Ability to remain calm, composed, and effective under pressure and in high-visibility situations
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent a C-level office professionally both internally and externally
Demonstrated experience in event planning and project management
Strong discretion and judgment, acting in the best interest of the company and FinOps org
“No task too big or too small” and team player attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and assist wherever needed
Advanced proficiency in Google Suite/apps and willingness to learn the basics of other major software/tools (e.g., Navan, Zoom, Teams, Excel, QuickTime/iMovie, Canva/Figma, ChatGPT, internally built Netflix software, etc.) and an interest in learning AI a plus
Eagerness to learn from and collaborate closely with a primary Executive Assistant
Strives for excellence combined with a willingness to help the team beyond core tasks
Comfortable supporting personal requests, as they may overlap with business matters
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in event coordination, program coordination, or similar role a plus
Previous experience supporting or working with C-level executives
Background in the entertainment, media, tech, or finance industries
Creativity and experience with graphic/video assets is a plus
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $38.46 - $71.39.
