Backend Software Engineer – Mid Level (Remote)

Python | FastAPI | AWS | TypeScript We’re looking for a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer who enjoys building clean APIs, writing solid code, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and customers. This role is perfect if you want to grow technically , work in a cloud-native environment , and have a real impact on production systems. What you’ll do Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python Build and evolve RESTful APIs using FastAPI (or Flask) Collaborate with customers and internal teams on API contracts and technical solutions Write well-tested, readable, and maintainable code Participate in architectural and API design discussions Work with cloud-based infrastructure (primarily AWS) Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows Operate in an Agile, fast-changing consultancy environment What we’re looking for 3+ years of professional software development experience Strong experience with Python Solid experience designing RESTful APIs Experience with FastAPI or Flask Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript Experience with AWS Confident use of Git Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) Strong focus on testing and code quality Good English communication skills Nice to have CI/CD exposure Docker or container basics Consultancy or client-facing experience AWS certification Salary & Benefits Permanent contract Full remote MacBook Pro Continuous training & learning budget International environment Meal vouchers ( Ticket Restaurant )
