Logistics Specialist

What you’ll do: Execute day-to-day logistics operations across Archer’s network, ensuring reliable movement of materials, tooling, and flight hardware Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ocean, and ground modes, including time-critical and high-value moves Manage shipment lifecycle from request intake through delivery, including booking, documentation, tracking, and issue resolution Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and external vendors to align logistics execution with program needs Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling and documentation Support planning and execution of complex moves, including AOG, test articles, and demo aircraft deployments Maintain accurate shipment records and system data to support traceability, reporting, and audit requirements Identify and escalate risks to schedule, cost, or material integrity, and drive timely resolution Work with logistics providers, carriers, and brokers to ensure service performance and resolve operational issues Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including SOP development, process standardization, and cost optimization Assist in packaging validation and coordination to ensure materials are protected and compliant for transport Support development of scalable logistics processes and tools as Archer grows its operational footprint What you need: 2 years of related experience in Aerospace and/or automotive industry. 2 years of related experience in domestic and international transportation management. Understanding of production classification (HTS). Knowledge/experience working with freight forwarders and U.S. Customs Brokers. Ability to communicate in a professional business manner, both in writing and verbally. High attention to details is required. Strong computer skills. Experience handling logistics in an ERP driven environment. SAPS experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities. Strong team player. Education High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bonus Qualifications: BS degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business. Actual compensation offered will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
