Become part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform the automotive and mobility industry.</p> <p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <p>This position performs the functions of shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management and record-keeping for incoming and outgoing shipments of company products and vendor parts necessary to manufacturing of products; stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensures accuracy and timeliness of all job functions; verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.</p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Determines method of shipment and prepares bills, invoices and other shipping documents.</li> <li>Receive material - check and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary.</li> <li>Inspect and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods.</li> <li>Accept or returns material according to established company procedures. Prints and affixes proper labels.</li> <li>Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise. Make necessary verifications against documents.</li> <li>May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.</li> <li>Maintain internal record-keeping systems.</li> <li>Contact transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace or return material that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders.</li> <li>Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions.</li> <li>Take inventory, maintain storage area, organize and place stock on shelves. Ensure area is secure at all times.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li> <li>2-3 years related experience in shipping activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment</li> <li>Supervisory experience would be an asset</li> <li>Strong organizational skills</li> <li>Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)</li> <li>Proficiency with database applic ...
