Feeds are both a destination and entrypoint for almost all Reddit journeys, and we know a smooth, intuitive, and delightful experience is critical to Reddit’s success and appeal. You’ll be working with the immense scale of hundreds of millions of users to help them explore Reddit and provide them with excellent feeds on Reddit.</p> <p><em>This role can be remote within the United States, Canada, or Europe, or can be a hybrid model if near an office. Offices are located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Madrid and Berlin. </em></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and operate a high-caliber, inclusive team of engineers.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally, collaborate and partner with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to build novel products and features that our users will love.</li> <li>Work alongside a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers. Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help mentor engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise.</li> <li>Participate in the full development cycle: design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be writing and reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks, and ensuring successful delivery of key projects.</li> <li>You will be a key driver in the planning, development, and implementation across Reddit’s backend service architecture in service of our native mobile and web clients as part of a full stack team.</li> <li>Enable a culture of metrics led execution, with a focus on operational excellence and system observability.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Who You Might Be:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a software engineer developing user-facing applications</li> <li>Fluency working with product metrics, designing and analyzing experiments with exposure to tools like BigQuery, HEX, Firebase, etc.</li> <li>Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages; e.g. Python, Go, Swift, Kotlin, Rust, Java, C++</li> <li>Experience leveraging GenAI tools to increase software engineering productivity.</li> <li>Experience working with ML engine ...
