Treasurer

Your Impact at Lila We are seeking a strategic and operationally rigorous Treasurer to build and lead a world-class treasury function capable of supporting a multi-entity, capital-intensive, rapidly expanding organization. This role will own the company’s treasury strategy and operations, including liquidity management, banking relationships, risk management, and investment strategy. What You'll Be Building Liquidity Cash Management Build and own global cash forecasting (13-week rolling, liquidity planning) Optimize cash deployment across entities Design and implement scalable treasury systems and controls Oversee global payment operations, including wire and ACH release, ensuring strong internal controls and fraud prevention Investment Strategy Design and execute short-term investment strategy for excess liquidity Refine and enhance policies for money market funds, treasuries, and approved instruments Manage and further develop banking relationships Team Systems Buildout Build treasury processes that scale to a multi-billion dollar platform Manage banking platforms, user access, and approval workflows Partner closely with Accounting, FPA, Legal, and Operations What You’ll Need to Succeed 6-10+ years of progressive treasury experience Experience in high-growth, venture-backed, or capital-intensive environments Strong understanding of venture debt, structured financing, and equipment leasing Experience managing significant cash balances and complex capital structures Deep banking network and negotiation experience Familiarity with multi-entity and international treasury operations preferred Strong analytical and modeling skills Ability to operate both strategically and tactically Bonus Points For International treasury experience, including FX risk management and global cash structuring Experience in biotech, deep-tech, hardware, or capital-intensive industries Experience with government grants or federal funding compliance CPA, CFA, or CTP certification About Lila Lila Sciences is the world’s first scientific superintelligence platform and autonomous lab for life, chemistry, and materials science.  We are pioneering a new age of boundless discovery by building the capabilities to apply AI to every aspect of the scientific method.  We are introducing scientific superintelligence to solve humankind's greatest challenges, enabling scientists to bring forth solutions in human health, climate, and sustainability at a pace and scale never experienced before.
