For more information about this exciting partnership, read Omnidian Announces Acquisition of Solar Service Guys, Accelerating Growth and Service Offerings in Australia The Job As an Engineering Manager based in Australia, you will be a key leadership figure responsible for leveraging technology to propel our Australian business forward. As the first software engineering manager at Omnidian Australia, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You will build solutions for the current business, build out a team as the business grows, and act as the bridge between our US-based technology platform, Resolv, and our Australian operations. Your primary mission is to drive the integration and expansion of the Resolv platform within the Australian market. You will lead the technical strategy to internationalize our software, ensuring it supports the unique needs of the Australian energy landscape while maintaining the core power of our US-based innovations. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing: Strategic Integration: Drive the end-to-end integration of the Resolv technology platform with Australian-based technology and operational workflows. Business Growth Catalyst: Partner with leadership to identify how technology can unlock new revenue streams and scale the Australian business efficiently. Hands on development: As our first software engineer in Australia, and with only a small team planned for 2026, you will be expected to do hands-on work for at least a year. Bridge the Gap: Translate complex technical roadmaps into clear, actionable business value for stakeholders, ensuring alignment between US engineering teams and Australian business objectives. Software Internationalization: Lead the efforts to adapt and scale our software for international markets, addressing localization, regulatory requirements, and region-specific technical challenges. Autonomous Leadership: Operate with a high degree of independence, managing technical projects and local priorities while staying deeply connected to the global engineering organization. Team Advocacy: While leading technically, you will champion a strong culture fostering an environment of dignity, respect, and continuous learning.
