AT SPAN, WE BELIEVE IN: - Enabling homes and vehicles powered by clean energy - Making electrification upgrades possible - Building more resilient homes with reliable backup - Designing a flexible and distributed electrical grid THE ROLE SPAN’s Sales Operations team is responsible for driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the company’s sales channels and partner network. We are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join this team and ensure seamless execution of order management, channel programs, account onboarding, and marketing events. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Channel Partners. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing processes that directly impact the success of SPAN’s commercial organization. RESPONSIBILITIES - Order Management – Process incoming orders, manage changes through delivery, monitor shipment tracking, and provide timely updates to customers. - Financial Collaboration & Rebates – Track marketing fund usage, support quarterly rebate processing, and prepare/submission of credit memos for partner incentives and events. - Marketing Event Coordination – Plan and execute partner-facing events, manage RSVPs, campaigns, and logistics (e.g., venues, catering, swag, flyers). - Tech Portal Support – Provide access and troubleshooting support for SPAN’s installer Tech Portal, resolving issues efficiently. - Account Onboarding & Data Hygiene – Manage execution of sales agreements and partner onboarding, maintain structured account records, and ensure incentive program data accuracy. - Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Support – Prepare data and reports (e.g., lead pass metrics, installer activations) and support sales enablement during QBRs. POTENTIAL PROJECTS - Streamlining the order-to-delivery process to improve turnaround times and customer communication. - Enhancing data quality and account hierarchy structures in Salesforce for improved partner visibility. - Supporting rollout of new partner incentive programs by aligning systems, reporting, and enablement materials. - Driving improvements in event logistics, partner engagement, and ROI tracking for marketing events. ABOUT YOU Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, or Channel Programs. - Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with Salesforce CRM. - Familiarity with Mixmax, marketing automation tools, or event management platforms. - Experience supporting channel partners or installer networks. - Prior experience preparing data for business reviews or financial reporting.
