AI Transformation Intern

We are seeking an intern to support the development and rollout of Edelman’s AI platform, tooling, and transformation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of product management, user experience research, and change management. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to help assess organizational needs, identify workflow friction points, support the design of AI-enabled tools and features, and help drive adoption across the firm. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to shaping how Edelman works in the future — and how AI transforms the communications industry more broadly. Key Responsibilities Discovery & Research Support stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to identify needs, pain points, and process friction Help map current-state workflows and develop journey maps to highlight opportunity areas Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into clear insights and recommendations ​ Product Design & Development Assist in defining product concepts, user stories, and feature requirements for internal AI tools Contribute to wireframes, lightweight prototypes, and feedback loops Support pilot programs and testing cycles, capturing insights to inform iteration Help document product updates and roadmap elements in structured, usable formats Change Management & Enablement Support the development of change management and adoption strategies Help create enablement materials including adoption toolkits, training decks, guides, and FAQs Draft internal communications plans to articulate value, behavioral shifts, and impact Track adoption signals and feedback to help refine tools and rollout approaches Ideal Candidate Strong interest in product management, user experience research, organizational change, or innovation Demonstrated curiosity and fluency with AI tools, with an interest in how AI transforms workflows and industries Ability to break down complex systems and processes into clear, structured insights Strong writing and presentation skills (proficiency in Figma is ideal) Comfortable working in ambiguity and contributing to early-stage initiatives Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks within a structured environment Relevant coursework or prior internship experience in product, consulting, research, strategy, or innovation is a plus Additional Information: Interns are paid $22/ hour and are expected to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/ week) The internship is a 10-week program beginning on Monday, June 8, 2026 to Friday, August 14, 2026 In order to be considered, you must have at least completed your junior year of undergraduate study by the summer of 2026 The internship program will be hybrid—3 days/week in office Edelman does not provide any form of housing reimbursement Only students who are authorized to work in the United States will be considered # LI-NM1 An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
