We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code. We’re hiring a Field CTO to engage with senior technical leaders at the world’s most sophisticated companies. This is a highly strategic, individual contributor role focused on shaping how enterprises adopt AI in software development. As a Field CTO, you’ll operate as a peer to CTOs, VP Engineering, and platform leaders — helping them navigate the evolving AI landscape, evaluate Cursor at a systems level, and design adoption strategies across large organizations. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Field Engineering, and Product, acting as a force multiplier on our most important deals. This role is high-context and externally facing: you’ll be involved in many conversations, often early, helping frame problems and guide technical direction rather than going deep on implementation.
