About the role D-Wave is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our Engineering and Production teams. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. You will ensure all materials and shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely to meet production schedules and delivery commitments. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role also supports overall logistics operations by ensuring the accurate and timely movement of inventory between suppliers, warehouses, production, and customers. You will play a key role in maintaining production continuity, minimizing delays, supporting supply chain coordination, and meeting outbound shipping deadlines. Effective collaboration with Purchasing, Production, and external carriers is essential to sustaining efficient end-to-end logistics performance. What you'll do Shipping: Prepare items for shipment by packing, counting, labeling, crating/uncrating parts, and organizing orders Ensure all required shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, customs paperwork, etc.) is accurate and complete Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including scheduling carrier pickups and communicating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve shipping discrepancies or delays Maintain working knowledge of shipping procedures, carrier rates, and applicable regulations Receiving: Receive and unload incoming shipments; verify packing slips against purchase orders Inspect goods for damage and confirm quantities and part numbers against purchase orders Accurately record receipts in the ERP/inventory management system Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to Purchasing or management Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in designated warehouse locations Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and annual physical inventory Update bin locations and investigate inventory discrepancies Ensure proper storage of raw materials, components, finished goods, and shipping supplies Follow established put-away methodology to maintain a picker-friendly and efficient warehouse layout Safety and Compliance: Follow all company health and safety policies and warehouse procedures Operat ...
