Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure Engineer We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help shape the foundation of our technology. In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to build the tooling and platforms that supercharge engineering productivity and you'll design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. What You’ll Do - Partner with internal teams to build and maintain tooling and platforms that enhance engineering productivity and operational excellence. - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. - Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, local development environments, multi-staging instances, and ephemeral environments for fast iteration. - Provide support and guidance to product teams across all lines to enable smooth feature delivery. - Establish and teach standards for code maintainability, performance, and reliability through code review and mentorship. - Drive observability best practices by implementing monitoring, alerting, and tracing with Datadog across all services. - Stay current with emerging tools and technologies, recommending opportunities to improve operational efficiency and platform capabilities. Requirements - 6+ years of software engineering experience. - 3+ years of DevOps or relevant experience managing and automating cloud infrastructure deployment (AWS preferred). - Strong experience with and interest in: - AWS (Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.) - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terraform CDK, AWS CDK) - Python 3 - Postgres (AWS RDS) and DynamoDB - Containerized workflows (Docker, Podman, etc.) - Serverless workflows (Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, message queues) - Monitoring, alerting, tracing with Datadog - GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) Nice-to-Haves - React with TypeScript experience. - Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance processes. - Automated testing (E2E, integration, unit). - Workflow orchestration tools (Temporal.io http://temporal.io/, Airflow, etc.). - Experience building or consuming GraphQL APIs. The base salary range for this position is $225,000 to $250,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
