As a Construction Manager specializing in Base Building, you will lead the construction of Crusoe's core building structures, including structural frameworks, exterior walls, roofs, and essential mechanical systems. As a key leader within the organization, you will ensure the successful delivery of multiple complex projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You’ll Be Working On: - Project Leadership: Oversee the construction of building shells and primary mechanical systems for hyperscale AI Data Centers. - Base Building Management: Direct the development of roofs, exterior walls, and critical infrastructure systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and company objectives. - Site Inspections & Quality Assurance: Conduct routine site inspections to monitor progress and verify adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. - Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders, resolving challenges and ensuring smooth communication. - Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors and vendors, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to agreements. - Budget & Schedule Management: Maintain strict adherence to project budgets and timelines, proactively addressing potential issues. - Risk Mitigation: Identify and implement strategies to mitigate construction risks and ensure project success. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure seamless project integration. - Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, highlighting key milestones and potential roadblocks. - Safety Compliance: Enforce and maintain stringent safety protocols on all construction sites.
