We are looking for a Bid Program Management Lead to spearhead our mission within Japan’s Public Sector, Education, and Non-Profit landscapes.
In this role, you will lead high-stakes SaaS/PaaS proposals, turning complex technical requirements into visionary solutions that help Japanese government agencies and NGOs modernize their impact.
What You’ll Do
Architect the Win: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) efforts. You’ll own the strategy, from the initial Go/No-Go analysis to the final, polished submission.
Write with Impact: Don't just fill in templates. You will structure, write, and edit technical and functional content that resonates with public sector stakeholders, ensuring every response is creative, compelling, and fully compliant.
Orchestrate Excellence: Act as the central hub for Sales, Solution Engineering, Legal, and Security teams. You will align these diverse voices into a single, persuasive narrative.
Scale the Function: Beyond individual bids, you will build the Bid Engine. This includes curating a world-class Japanese content library, developing proposal policies, and training internal teams on best practices.
Innovate & Evolve: Lead After Action Reviews to sharpen our tactics and explore how AI can be integrated to automate workflows and enhance response quality.
Report into the Director, GPS Framework Agreements & RFx base in Sydney
Your Profile
5–7 years of proven experience leading large-scale, end-to-end bid management cycles, preferably within the SaaS or broader technology sector.
Public Sector Native: You have a deep understanding of Japan’s procurement landscape, its nuances, and the unique requirements of Government/Non-Profit sectors.
Linguistic Precision: Native-level Japanese (written and spoken) to navigate complex local regulations, coupled with excellent English skills to collaborate with our global shared services.
The Driver Mentality: You thrive in fast-paced environments, possess an urgency to meet deadlines, and have a track record of taking the initiative to solve problems before they arise.
Bonus Points For:
AI Savvy: A vision for how Generative AI can revolutionize the bid process.
Credentials: APMP Certification.
Salesforce Knowledge: Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem or similar PaaS environments.
Strategic Foresight: Experience developing unsolicited proposals and high-level win themes that move the needle.
