The Role and Impact:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Module Equipment Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and optimizing production equipment, enabling Intel to deliver high-quality products to global markets. By leveraging your technical expertise, you will ensure the seamless operation of manufacturing tools, support engineering teams in experiments and troubleshooting, and contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment performance. Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in nonfunctioning manufacturing equipment.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, and technical drawings.
Conduct equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal tool performance.
Coordinate with suppliers for service and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
Monitor and analyze related data to drive improvements in equipment availability and performance.
Create reports on system failures, update existing specifications, and develop new specifications to enhance equipment reliability.
Collaborate with Module Engineering to execute experiments, implement equipment configuration changes, and support data collection activities.
Troubleshoot module equipment issues by conducting data analysis and controlled experiments to meet or exceed performance targets.
Assist with factory ramp activities, working alongside engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and configured per design specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Proficiency in analyzing technical data and using precision instruments for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic systems.
Experience with equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Familiarity with technical documentation, schematics, and operating procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Commitment to quality standards and a keen attention to detail.
